- Cardiovascular problems
- Cancer
- Colic
- Suspected hemorrhaging
Absolute
Should never be done
- Fever (general or local infection)
- Recent operations or acute injury
- Neuritis (radiating nerve pain)
- Skin diseases: fungal or bacterial infections, including rain rot
Local
Affected area can not be treated, the rest can be done
- Undiagnosed lumps or bumps
- Pregnancy
- Bruising
- Cuts
- Sunburn
- Fractures
- Inflammation
- Persisted undiagnosed pain
